The romantic, seductive stuff…

Skeptical about why you running a bath for your partner is going to get you closer to what you want? Well listen up chaps…. because firstly (and assuming here that your partner actually likes a nice bath) it will help her to relax and switch off from her potentially busy day, and when she relaxes thoughts of naughty fun with you are going to be allowed to form in her head (if she’s not relaxed then they definitely won’t by the way), and secondly you having taken the trouble to get her this gorgeous bath foam will make her feel that she is special to you and that might work in your favour with a little reward…

Original Carshalton Lavender Bath Foam Description:

Original Carshalton Lavender Bath Foam 250 ml

Carshalton Lavender Bath Foam is a rich foaming bath soak made with Organic Carshalton Lavender. Carshalton Lavender bath foam is perfect before bedtime or just to escape the stresses of the day. It contains some very clever Dead Sea Minerals which will help to re-hydrate your partners fine bod.

If you don’t already know the wondrous smell of Lavender then think – rich, herbaceous and heavenly – and you’ll be about there!

The lavender from the fields at Carshalton is both organic and unique, and regarded as one of the best in the world (even by the French!). A wonderful blend of herbaceous low notes and sweet high notes.

How to use:

Pour into your bath or massage into your partners hair (yes, she might actually find this rather heavenly), then leave for 2-3 minutes (not you – the foam) before rinsing with clean, warm water. Then simply repeat as required.

A small spot of history:

Carshalton was once the home of the worlds Lavender production, producing arguably the finest Lavender in the world. The Lavender is commonly known as “Mitcham Lavender”, as the distillation plant used to be located on the Mitcham / Carshalton border at Figs Marsh. Indeed the Lavender fields stretched all the way from Wallington in the South to Mitcham in the North. A combination of competition from abroad, combined with demands for war time metal and then the post war London housing boom (the first large scale council estate was built at St Helier, Carshalton largely on the site of the Lavender fields), led to their demise. Towards the end of the 1990’s local sustainable charity organisation, Bioregional started the revival project, claiming unused pieces of land and planting them with direct descendants of the original Lavender plants. These plants have been nurtured by community projects and harvested on an annual harvest event involving the whole community, drawing people from across the country.

The Lavender produced is truly amazing, and you soon see why even the French admitted that Carshalton Lavender is the finest in the world. It is beautifully herbaceous giving a true feeling of the plant in all the products it is used. If Lavender has an “absolute” version, this would be it.

Increasingly, once again Carshalton is coming alive with the colour of Lavender and it is great for us to be able to use it and popularise it again. The small scale production and sheer quality of the oil makes it a highly sought after commodity.

The oil is distilled on site at the farm, so it is still fresh when it enters the oil bottles.
